Groomed for frequency converters in power classes up to about 40 kW, the MKP link self-healing capacitors cover a voltage range from 450 Vdc to 1.3 kVdc. They are available with capacitance values between 1.5 µF and 110 µF and specify an ESR down to 3.0 milliOhms and an ESL of 10 nH. Other features include a ripple current capability up to 20A at 70 °C and 10 kHz, a service life of 200 000 hours, and operation in temperatures up to 105 °C.
