The company’s welding transformers solve the problem of meeting environmental safety requirements with unique bobbins that provide up to 16 mm of creepage and more than 6 kVrms of isolation. For example, one transformer offering provides 5 kW of output power in a full bridge converter at 60 kHz. The primary current is surpasses 30A peak with less than 50W of total power dissipation. The component measures 120 mm x 65 mm x 20 mm and delivers an output current beyond 150A. Input voltage is 400 Vdc and efficiency is better than 98.9%. Terminations are available per user requirements and custom design samples are feasible in a few weeks. For more details, call PAYTON AMERICA INC., Deerfield Beach FL. (954) 428-3326.
