Touted as the smallest commercially available MEMS microphone with an integrated digital interface, the T4030 measures 3.25 mm x 2.25 mm x 1.1 mm³. Specs include a sensitivity of -26 dB full scale, SNR of 60 dBA, and, at a sound level of 100 dB, a distortion factor below 1%. Suppression of power-supply noise is -82 dB full scale. Supply voltage range is between 1.64V and 2.86V. When in use, power consumption is 650 μA and is reduced to less than 10 μA in standby operation. Additionally, the T4030 is manufactured in chip-sized MEMS package technology. EPCOS INC., Iselin, NJ. (800) 888-7728.
