The Endevco model EM40PS low-profile surface microphone integrates an ISOTRON, IEPE-type amplifier. It requires no holders or stands and includes a dust-free, water-repellant grid cap and a lightweight, detachable silicon rubber fairing. Specs include a nominal sensitivity of 5 mV/Pa at 250 Hz, frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and a dynamic range from less than 30 dBA to 136 dB over a temperature range from -20ºC to +80ºC.
