Low-Cost Metal-Oxide Resistors Handle Up To 5W

March 2, 2011
Offered as a low cost alternative to wirewound resistors rated at 5W maximum, the RSF and RSMF Series metal-oxide resistors operate in temperatures up to 200 degC for the mini 1/2W and 1W sizes and 235 degC for all other sizes.

Offered as a low cost alternative to wirewound resistors rated at 5W maximum, the RSF and RSMF Series metal-oxide resistors operate in temperatures up to 200°C for the mini 1/2W and 1W sizes and 235°C for all other sizes. Sizes from mini 1/2W up to 5W have a TCR of ±200 ppm and 1% and 5% tolerances. Due to film element technology, both series are inherently fusible. Pricing starts around $0.02 each to $0.42 each depending on size, resistance, and tolerance. STACKPOLE ELECTRONICS INC., Raleigh, NC. (888) 734-7347.
