Thin Film Thermoelectric Module Product Line

Feb. 21, 2013
Laird Technologies, Inc. announced the release of its new eTEG Series Thin Film Energy Harvesting product line. The eTEG Series are thermoelectric power generators that harvest waste heat and convert it in to usable output DC power. Due to their micro scale size and higher output power density, these devices are especially suitable for use in wireless sensors, LED lighting and battery charging applications. There are three standard eTEG modules available: PG09,14,F0,0102,GG: 33 mW PG24,48,F2,0202,GG: 90 mW PG37,72,F2,0203,GG; 130 mW   The Thin Film Energy Harvesters are assembled with thin film semiconductor material, thermally conductive aluminum nitride ceramics and gold plated wire bondable pads. The three models have output voltages from 0.6 to 2.5 V in an open circuit at maximum temperature differentials.
