Rugged ac-dc power supplies sealed in a heat-conducting potting material offer the reliability and shock resistance required in heavy industrial applications. Schaefer’s TER converter family consists of the 250-W TER-250, 1000-W TER-1000, and 1500-W TER-1500. The high-density, high-efficiency devices feature power factor correction, universal input, output voltage adjustment, parallel/series operation, protection/alarms for I/O signals, and individually isolated single or multiple outputs. Operating temperature ranges from −40 to 85°C, with an optional −50 to 85°C. They comply to EN55022 Class A (Class B with filter). Applications include oil/gas, utility, telecom, datacom, transit/rail, factory automation, process control, and location/navigation.
