As a result of a partnership between ANT, Swell Software and the company, a complete graphical environment has been created for the development of user interfaces and other graphical applications in wireless devices. The environment consists of a graphics library, browser and email client, and a portable embedded GUI (PEG).
The OSE graphics library features basic drawing primitives, bit-map font support, and optional support for virtual screen orientations. The Fresco browser and SimplEmail from ANT provide a functional browser and e-mail applications specifically designed for wireless terminals, set-top boxes, and other Internet devices. The PEG from Swell Software integrates with OSETM real-time operating system and allows users to write applications with Windows capabilities and a customized look and feel.
