Based on the KLR3012 RF audio module, the company’s reference design claims to be the first for small-form-factor wireless earphones that can achieve at least 10 hours playtime of lossless CD-quality digital stereo audio over a 2.4-GHz radio link. The reference design also demonstrates what may be the industry’s first un-tethered earphones, with no wire necessary between the right and the left earphones. The reference design also offers an optional adaptor for the latest generation iPod and includes the BOM, schematics, and Gerber files. For more details and price, call KLEER, Cupertino, CA.
