With ranges in excess of 10 km and allegedly exhibiting lower power consumption than ZigBee, the LT2510 fifth-generation, 2.4-GHz FHSS module employs proprietary FlexRF technology. Embedded with the company’s server-client protocol, the LT2510 permits each module to communicate with any other in-range module for true peer-to-peer operation. Other features include a greater-than 150 Kb/s throughput in half-duplex mode, variable output power options up to 1W for power-restrictive or battery-operated applications, and a SMT package.
