Designed for high reliability and mobile digital-video recording applications, the eight-channel CTR-1471 PC/104 , JPEG-2000 encoder card can withstand extreme temperatures and mechanical stress. It contains a dedicated wavelet transform engine, three entropy codecs, memory system, and dual embedded RISC processors. The card processes images at a rate of 40 Msamples/s in reversible mode and higher rates in irreversible mode. Other features include: JPEG 2000 - ISO/IEC15444-1 video encoding; eight NTSC/PAL/SECAM analog-video input channels; 16 GPIOs; independent motion detection on each channel; programmable picture size, position, panning, tilting, freeze frame, image scaling, and zooming; and standard and industrial temperature ranges.
