LabVIEW Now Performs Thermal Imaging

In conjunction with FLIR Systems, the company has developed thermal-imaging software for use with its LabVIEW software and IMAQ Vision machine-vision software. The new software makes LabVIEW compatible with FLIR's ThermoVision infrared cameras that offer an image with more than 76000 points of temperature measurement. In conjunction with the pattern matching and blob analysis features of theIMAQ Vision software, applications supported range from evaluating products inside opaque packaging to inspecting electronic components. The new thermal imaging software is free of charge, and LabVIEW and IMAQ Vision users can download it from the company's web site.
