An integrated toolset for Siemens' Tricore processor and its derivatives is claimed as the first comprehensive programming package for this 32-bit architecture. The set consists of the Nucleus PLUS real-time operating kernel, ANSI C and C++ compilers, a macro assembler, linker/locator, and CrossView Pro debugger. All elements plug into the company's Embedded Development Environment, which provides an open, easy-to-use Windows-based platform in which to develop Tricore software.
