In the DataSheet Pro tool, designers will find an efficient environment for management of documents containing multiple timing diagrams. The software uses Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) to provide immediate, in-place editing of timing diagrams. Other features include style sheets, view support, direct Web file generation, project management and support for the Timing Diagram Markup Language (TDML) format. The latter enables uses to receive timing diagrams produced using any TDML-compatible product and embed them directly into documentation applications such as FrameMaker or Microsoft Word. The tool’s view support and project management features give users a method of controlling, manipulating and updating diagrams for a given project. Views enable users to store settings for multiple pictures taken from a single timing diagram, while project management features provide listings of related diagrams. The tool is available for Windows 95/98/NT.
