Developers can reduce the times it takes to design and deploy user-interfaces for embedded systems when using Rapid PLUS 4.5. In addition to adding automatic code generation, the new version of the software provides code-free simulation and prototyping power with state chart formalism, efficient and compact automatic C/C++ code generation, automatic document generation in HTML and RTF format, easy-to-use interfaces to most real-time operating systems and function cells, automatic validation testing, and semi-automated test documentation. Version 4.5 supports the methodology of concurrent engineering and streamlines communications between functional departments within an organization to reduce the time to market of embedded products.
