GrammaTech showed off its CodeSonar product at Boston ESC. CodeSonar is a whole-program, interprocedural analysis for C/C++ applications. It is design to identify bugs like buffer overruns and memory leaks during the build process prior to running an application. CodeSonar creates a whole-program model that is symbolically executed and analyized to see how variables are related. Warnings are generated when anomalies are encountered. A web-based management system helps track bugs and issues. CodeSonar 3.0 Enterprise is priced starting at $4,000 for small projects. Related Links GrammaTech
