Keeping an eye on budget restrictions, the IK-53N and the IK-52N monochrome machine-vision cameras are promoted as both cost-effective and high-performance components. Measuring 29 mm square and weighing 1.59 oz., both cameras provide a resolution of 768 x 494, making them suitable for use in test and inspection, laboratory, robotics, sorting/gauging, and component alignment/placement environments. Identical in appearance and features, they employ a one-piece design that eliminates the need for a CCU. The IK-52N has a 1/2-inch CCD, while the IK-53N uses a 1/3-inch CCD. Minimum subject illumination is 0.5 lux for the IK-53N and 0.4 lux for the IK-52N. Both are compatible with standard frame grabbers and accommodate a range of off-the-shelf, C-mount lenses.
