Suitable for use as fundamental L.O. sources in digital radio transceivers, the LT-Series phase-locked frequency synthesizers cover a frequency range, in octave bands, from 200 MHz to 8 GHz. The components are available as fixed-frequency or serially programmable precision phase-locked oscillators. Measuring 1.3" x 1.10" x 0.3" in aluminum cases weighing less than 18g, they rely on external frequency references, said to be responsible for high stability and low phase-noise characteristics. Additional features include internal regulators, internal buffer amplifiers, and typical operation over a temperature range of –30°C to +70°C.
