The 2.4-GHz, based on the Ember EM250 system-on-chip, also supports coordinators, routers, end devices, and low-power sleep modes. Other features include a 16-bit microprocessor, 128 Kb of flash memory, and four different antenna options: chip antenna, wire whip, U.FL connector, and RPSMA connector. The module works with X-CTU software, which allows network designers to test and configure ZigBee networks including node recognition and network management tools.
