For the purpose of increased reliability, the company's redundant clock module (RCM) includes a backup crystal clock oscillator that operates automatically in the event of a malfunction, including off frequency. The module promises a smooth transition between clock sources without missing a clock cycle and allows redundancy to be expanded to several clocks. It is configured for a variety of output, logic, and voltage levels, and multiple outputs can be employed. Other features include a maximum jitter of 5 psRMS and EMI shielding. Each module is HALT tested and HASS screened with full jitter and/or phase-noise characterization. NEL FREQUENCY CONTROLS, Burlington, WI. (262) 763-3591.
