Poised for the mobile electronics market, the company's latest system block for an SDIO client sets up within its functional library for Customer Specific Standard Product (CSSP) platforms. The addition enables a range of unique accessories for mobile devices employing SD memory cards and SDIO peripheral interfaces. According to the company, the SDIO client system block opens a whole new range of applications for the CSSP platforms. The CSSP approach blends fixed logic blocks with an array of low-power customizable building blocks for implementing additional standards-based or custom functions. It offers users a customizable platform that addresses cost, battery life, and PCB-space requirements. QUICKLOGIC CORP., Sunnyvale, CA. (408) 990-4000.
