Employing a sealed, watertight enclosure with pluggable connectors, the HEC-2000 harsh-environment controller permits programmable intelligence under less than ideal conditions. The standard enclosure is submersible to 3' and is screw- and sub-plate mountable. Based on patented PLC-on-a-Chip technology, the HEC-2000 is programmed using the company’s EZ Ladder software, which supports ladder diagramming with function-block programming. The device features an 8- to 32-V dc input range. I/O capabilities include eight 8- to 32-V dc inputs, two 40-kHz counters, and eight digital/PWM outputs rated to 3A with automatic over-current safety and programmable status monitoring for each. A CAN port or an optional serial communications port provides network communication. Expansion I/O capabilities include both digital and analog with allowance for future custom modules as needed. Operating temperature range is –40°C to 70°C. DIVELBISS CORP., Fredericktown, OH. (800) 245-2327.
