Based on passive protection devices, the company's ESD and over-current reference layout assumes position as the first of its kind for HDMI 1.3 interfaces. Developed in conjunction with Efficere, the layout forecasts robust performance and optimal use of PCB space. It employs the company’s low-capacitance (0.25 pF signal to ground) PESD protection devices and includes optional over-current protection on the +5V rail, via a PolySwitch nanoSMD device.
