Described as a low-cost product, the TRITON-270 system on module (SOM) hosts a 312-MHz PXA270 processor, 32 MB of SDRAM, 32 MB of NOR flash memory, and a 200-pin SODIMM connector. Measuring 67.6 mm x 31 mm x 4.2 mm, the module may be the market’s smallest. It is essentially a PXA270 computer on a module, optimized for mobile designs where low power and size are critical. Available with a Linux 2.6 kernel or Windows CE 5.0 pre-installed, other features include power management and a programmable core voltage generator to vary the supply voltage from 1.3V to 1.1V.
