These molded-in threaded inserts provide strong metal threads in plastic material. Designed for permanent installation during the molding process, Standard Insert (SI) molded-in inserts eliminate the need for secondary assembly steps or costly installation equipment. SI molded-in series of threaded inserts include blind threaded Types IBB (brass) and IBC (stainless-steel); self-locking blind threaded Type IBLC (stainless-steel); through-threaded Types ITB (brass) and ITC (stainless-steel); and through-threaded knurled Types STKB (brass) and STKC (stainless-steel).
