The SPT5420 is an octal, 13-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). This parallel-input, voltage-output device is tailored for use in automatic test equipment. It offers very low power dissipation of 195 mW.

The DAC also features an ultra-fast settling time of 15 µs to ±0.5 LSB. Pin-compatible with the company's AD7839, it's available in a 10- by 10-mm, 44-lead metric quad flat pack (MQFP) plastic package. It functions over the commercial-temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.

The SPT5420 costs $27.90 each in quantities of 100 to 499 units.
