Expanding the PIC32 family of 32-bit MCU is a low-cost member with integrated USB 2.0 OTG functionality. Like all PIC32 USB OTG family members, it features a USB OTG PHY and gains support via the MPLAB IDE, MPLAB C30 C compiler, MPLAB REAL ICE emulation system, MPLAB ICD 2 in-circuit debugger, and the MPLAB PM3 universal device programmer. The company also provides free source code for USB software stacks and class drivers. The PIC32MX420F032H-40I/PT runs at 40 MHz, packs 32 kb of flash memory, and comes in a 64-pin TQFP. Price is $3.25 each/10,000.
