The IntelliBox-I/O 2100 debuts as the industry’s first fully programmable external device server that automates remote equipment and associated reporting. Exploiting the company's EventTrak technology, the server allows users to connect industrial, commercial, medical, retail, and security equipment to IP networks and the Internet to automatically monitor and respond to events in real-time with no human intervention. Triggered by an event, it automatically responds with a user-defined set of responses. These can include rebooting, reconfiguring attached equipment, turning a machine switch on or off, triggering a relay or alarm, and/or providing automated reports. Incoming data can be sent via email or RSS, which allows hundreds of devices to be simultaneously monitored from a single RSS-enabled web page or from an email client. Price for the IntelliBox-I/O 2100 is $395 each. LANTRONIX INC., Irvine, CA. (800) 526-8766.
