TargetLink 2.0, a new version of software that automatically generates highly efficient production code for electronic control units (ECUs), delivers optimized C code directly from Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow. The software reduces controller development time by minimizing time-consuming and error-prone hand coding. It integrates a new blockset concept to make teamwork more efficient. An incremental code-generation tool allows independent code generation for subsystems containing modified code. TargetLink is easily integrated into existing development environments. The new blockset in TargetLink 2.0 can be used on any computer that has Matlab/Simulink installed. Also, TargetLink 2.0 offers code coverage analysis with the click of a mouse, without any other tool required. It supports OSEK/VDX-compliant operating systems. Available in the mid- to late second quarter of this year, the TargetLink 2.0 software is priced at $14,980.
