Ada, the programming languageof the Department of Defense (DoD), is alive and kicking. The combination of Ada and UML (Universal Model Language) can be found in Rhapsody 4.1 from I-Logix. Rhapsody for Ada supports both Ada 83 and Ada 95.
The visual Rhapsody for Ada environment incorporates a rule-based, reverse-engineering tool to leverage legacy code within the UML design process. A number of new features have been included with the new release of Rhapsody. For example, a novel tree-view browser with its property filter can help users locate object properties more quickly. Hyperlinks can now be added to any object, enabling links to Web pages and external documents.
