Duration delivers high availability with little or no application modification. By sitting between the application and operating-system tracking transactions, it can support failover. This information goes to hot standby servers that can quickly activate a copy of an application when the primary one fails. A server can act as a hot standby for more than one of its siblings and run other applications. Small developer packs begin at $35,000.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
