The latest J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) includes the first production version of JavaServer Faces. Sun Microsystems' J2EE 1.4 contains a range of new features like the Web Services Integration (WS-I) Basic Profile and extensive developer productivity features. It also provides application programming interfaces for JavaServer Faces 1.0. JavaServer Faces simplifies building user interfaces by providing reusable UI components for use in Web applications. This framework also includes a JavaServer Pages (JSP) custom tag library for expressing a JavaServer Faces interface within a JSP page. The J2EE 1.4 Software Developer Kit (SDK) is a free download.
