C++ Development Suite Aims For PowerPC Line

The Microtec C and C++ compiler suite handles Freescale Semiconductor's entire line of PowerPC microprocessors. The Dynamic Variant Support package permits upgrades of the tools via e-mail to accommodate for future processor variants. Created by Accelerated Technology, the Microtec suite version 3.0 supports the updated C, C99, and C++ standards. Additionally, the suite includes the standard template library (STL), advanced templates, and STLport libraries. Microtec compilers work with Accelerated Technology's XRAY debugger and the company's real-time operating-system development suite. Microtec compiler pricing begins at $2400.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
