The latest version of Atlas Communication Operating System (ACOS) is an embedded RTOS for communications operation. The RTOS is packaged with the Diamond Internetworking System, a flexible and modular hardware product. Applications include integrated access devices, Web servers, ATM access concentrators, mini DSLAMs, wireless or cable-modem network platforms, and more. ACOS is optimized for communications applications and allows for easy addition of customized network interface modules to the Diamond system. These include VPN, encryption, firewalls, custom GUIs, voice-over-IP and more.
