icWORKSHOP is a real-time OS development environment that enables designers to either use and customize pre-configured software components to build an RTOS or to use pre-packaged OSs for out-of-the-box functionality. The tool is said to dramatically reduce the time required to develop custom RTOSs. Applications can be developed to run on the precise operating system and exact processor needed for their most efficient performance. The software is available for use on NT and Unix platforms with target processors including Motorola 68000, PowerPC and ColdFire.
