An enhanced version of the company's real-time environment is said to deliver improved performance and greater ease of use. RTX 4.3 enables real-time capabilities on Windows-based multiprocessing platforms. The software is said to improve the latency response time of multiprocessor-based real-time NT systems compared with the response time experienced with uniprocessor systems, typically by a factor of two or more.RTX 4.3 also incorporates technology that enables its use with both the standard Windows NT hardware abstraction layer (HAL), as well as with a wide variety of custom-designed HAL configurations. In addition, the environment incorporates application wizards to make the early stages of application development easier. The software includes several GUI tools for managing and viewing RTX processes during the development cycle.
