The ADVance platform is offered as a product family designed to address the challenges of advanced mixed-signal system-on-chip (SOC) designs. Key features are support for the newly approved IEEE VHDL-AMS standard, a tool set for RF design, and a VHDL-AMS-based telecomm and datacomm library (CommLib). The platform provides simulation, easy integration into existing flows, enables rapid adoption of VHDL-AMS, and facilitates distribution and reuse of analog RF and mixed-signal blocks. The first two products in the line are the ADVance MS simulation environment with CommLib VHDL-AMS that supports true top-down and bottom-up design methodologies, and ADVance RFIC that provides RF analysis for mixed-signal IC design.
