Offered as the wireless industry’s first broadly interoperable public key management solution based on open standards, the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Gateway allows users to implement wireless PKI and digital signature capabilities that work with virtually any PKI technology and certificate authority. The company has licensed Certicom’s Trustpoint PKI Portal, which enables an open standards-based wireless PKI. The gateway is integrated into the application framework solution, allowing the service provider to choose policies for which transactions need to be digitally signed and what fields need to be contained in that contract. The gateway works with any PKI-enabled device or browser, and supports Research In Motion (RIM) and Palm Computing devices.
