At home in embedded applications requiring numerous functions, the PPM-Cardbus PC/104+ module supports both CardBus and PC Cards, 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth, IEE-1394, USB 2.0, SCSI, Ethernet, and more. The module employs a Texas Instruments TI1510 PCI-to-CardBus controller and supports 32-bit PC Cards at bus speeds up to 33 MHz, as well as 16-bit cards. Other features include break-before-make switching for hot plugging PC Cards and CardBus hot insertion and plug-and-play capabilities that allow the CardBus device to be treated as a standard PCI device.
