Targeting cost-sensitive applications, the SIO4-104 family of 4-port PC/104 serial I/O modules offers a choice of RS-232 and RS-422/485 interfaces. The modules support data rates up to 921.6 Kb/s in RS-422/485 mode, and interfacing is via a 40-pin header connector. Terminal block adapters and other accessories are also available. Additionally, the modules come with the company's suite of Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP drivers, as well as the WinSSD application, which provides an array of testing and diagnostic capabilities.
