Supporting higher maximum loads than predecessor ADAM-4000 I/O modules, the 12-channel ADAM-4056S sink and ADAM-4056SO source-type isolated digital output modules feature a communication watchdog and fail safe outputs, as well as support for the Modbus RTU protocol. The ADAM-4056S handles a maximum load of 200 mA, while the ADAM-4056SO copes with loads up to 1A per channel. The ADAM-4056SO also provides overload protection when the current draw exceeds 1A.
