Logging in as the first automated test suite that meets the requirements of both SATA 1.0a and SATA II Serial ATA transmitter compliance testing, SDA-SATA is designed for use with the company’s SDA 6000 family of serial data analyzers. The suite provides an extensive set of validation/verification and debug tools written in accordance with SATA Gen1 and SATA Gen2 electrical specifications. The suite includes six distinct jitter measurement methods, including n-cycle edge-to-edge and edge-to-reference, which have traditionally only been available via separate instruments. Also included are amplitude and standard eye-pattern measurements. Other features include an automatic HTML report generation engine that documents test results and instrument and signal acquisition/test condition setups. The reports contain tabulated numerical values for each individual test result including pass/fail and specification-limit columns. Price is $9,995. LECROY CORP., Chestnut Ridge, NY. (800) 453-2769.
