Extending the scope of CMOS camera capabilities, the CSB4000 series machine vision cameras promise ultra-high resolution and provide FireWire or Camera Link outputs, full-frame global shutters, and window of interest (WOI) functions. Two models make up the series: the CSB4000CL, a monochrome video camera with Camera Link interface, and the CSB4000F monochrome video camera with IEEE1394 FireWire output. Both employ a 4-Mpixel CMOS sensor providing a 2,008H x 2,047V resolution with a 12.048 mm x 12.282 mm image area and 6.0 µm x 6.0 µm pixels. Their standard frame rate of 7.4 fps can be increased with the selection of up to 16 arbitrary rectangular windows of WOIs. Other shared features include random-trigger shutters, a signal-to-noise ratio beyond 50 dB, and c-mount lens mountings. Both cameras ship with data cable, tripod kit, and IR cut filter.
