Simplifying integration, the stand-alone XBee-PRO radio modules allow for quick connections to both RS-232 and USB enabled devices and are compatible with networks operating on XBee and XBee-PRO technology. They include an aluminum housing, a 2.1 dBi dipole antenna, and the choice of an RS-232 or a USB connection. The 2.4 GHz radio includes a 100-mW (EIRP) XBee-PRO RF module, which is capable of transmitting at distances up to 0.9 miles in line-of-sight conditions.
