The Fast Track tools now include more than 100 example projects and allow switching target MCUs and the debug/flash programming connection in an open project. They also maximize performance with ANSI C/C++ and compact C++ compilers with more than 60 optimization strategies to reduce code size. Functionality of the C compilers is easily accessible through a Windows-driven GUI. A revamped Device Initialization tool allows users to add their code directly to the project or create a separate text file. Additionally, the inclusion of animated tutorials promises to shorten the learning curve.
