Sporting a package that is smaller than a flip phone, the DataMan 100 fixed-mount ID reader debuts as the smallest such component to date. Capable of reading printed barcodes to the most challenging 2D direct-marked codes, the reader employs the company's IDQuick software, described as a decoding tool for ultra-fast reading of well-formed codes. Additionally, it promises an easy set up with integrated illumination, beeper, adjustable optics, built-in aimer, and a push-button trigger. The DataMan 100 ID readers are currently available and support an expanding list of 1D and 2D codes including UPC/EAN/JAN, Code 39, Code 128, Code 93, Interleaved 2 of 5, Data Matrix, QR Code, and microQR Code.
