Targeting designers across a wide range of markets in communications, networking, video broadcast, storage, and computing, the company's development kit for PCI Express is based on its Virtex-5 family of FPGAs, reportedly the industry's first 65-nm FPGAs to be listed on the PCI SIG integrators list. The development kit includes protocol pack files for developing 1- to 8-lane applications. The Virtex-5 FPGAs integrate endpoint blocks for PCI Express and 3.2-Gb/s RocketIO GTP transceivers. The complete development kit includes an 8-lane PCI Express add-in card (ML555), a Virtex-5 XC5VLX50T-1FF1136 FPGA, IP cores for 1- to 8-lane PCIe endpoint plus PHY in the FPGA, reference designs and software, Windows driver toolkit from Jungo Ltd, Windows-based GUI, USB cable, resource CD, quick-start guide in multiple languages, and technical documentation.
