Enlarging the C Series USB modules for data-logging applications, the USB-9219, USB-9229, and USB-9239 provide USB, bus-powered connectivity to the C Series while the 9234 ac/dc coupled, dynamic-signal acquisition module offers selectable IEPE signal conditioning for measuring high-accuracy audio frequencies. The USB-9219, USB-9229, and USB-9239 four-channel modules perform multipurpose testing in any of the company's CompactDAQ or CompactRIO chassis, or with the USB-9162 carrier. Users of the USB-9219 can measure up to 11 signal types from sensors such as strain gages, RTDs, thermocouples, and load cells. Measurement range is up to ±60 V and ±25 mA. The USB-9229 and USB-9239 sample at rates up to 50 ksamples/s per channel and include anti-aliasing filters. The USB-9239 operates at ±10V while the USB-9229 operates at ±60 V. Suitable for vibration and acoustical data logging, the NI 9234 dynamic signal acquisition module allows users to turn IEPE conditioning on or off as well as select ac or dc coupling. The module delivers a 24-bit resolution, 102-dB dynamic range, and includes anti-aliasing filters. Depending on the module, prices range from $1,199 to $1,599. NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS, Austin, TX.
