Forming a unique combo, the T860 teams a precision analog comparator and an output driver capable of operating from dc up to 1 GHz. The unit accepts nearly any single-ended or differential, logic, or sine-wave input, and can drive any standard logic-level output: TTL, CMOS, ECL, PECL, or CML. It delivers output levels in the range of -4V to +5V with a peak-to-peak swing up to 5V. Typical output rise and fall times are below 200 ps. The T860 is deployable as a precision discriminator or logic-level converter, and converts any standard RF signal generator into a clock generator or step-recovery diode driver. Outputting up to 100 mA, it is viable as a cable or FET gate driver and can also drive diode lasers, E/O modulators, and serve as an ATE pin driver. HIGHLAND TECHNOLOGY, San Francisco, CA.
