Claiming position as the most accurate Ethernet data-acquisition (DAQ) module available, the DT8824 sports a front-end design and offers simultaneous sampling via as many as four, 24-bit isolated inputs. Employing proprietary ISO-Channel protection, each analog input is galvanically isolated from any other input and has its own return path. According to the company, this performance is 20 times more accurate than any other measurement solution. Other features include optional signal sampling ranges of ±10V with programmable gains of 1, 8, 16, and 32, four opto-isolated digital output lines, galvanically isolated to 250V, and a rugged enclosure. Pricing is $2,495 each. DATA TRANSLATION INC., Marlboro, MA. (800) 525-8528.
